1. Entry Each time you come to the club you must scan your membership card. If you forget your membership card, please see reception and they will check you in. If you have lost your card, you can replace it for $5.00. 2. Towels A clean towel is required in the gym at all times and must be used on all equipment. Please make sure you wipe down all equipment after use. Towels are available for hire at the front desk for $4.00. 3. Clothing Suitable exercise clothing must be worn at all times including enclosed sporting footwear. 4. Hygiene Deodorant must be worn, suitable clothing, covered shoes. Spitting is not permitted in any area of the Club. Shaving, shampooing and hair dye are not permitted in the steam room or spa. 5. Peak Time Please limit your workouts on Cardio equipment to 20 minutes and the use of any weight equipment to 4 sets only during peak times. 6. Safety Please refrain from any activities that may be deemed dangerous to your health or jeopardise your own safety and wellbeing. Bags are not permitted on the floor - please place bags in lockers or storage cubes provided. 7. Dumbbells & Weights Please return your dumbbells, free weights, kettlebells, etc, to the racks after use. 8. Rest Periods Please be courteous to other members and allow them to use weights equipment during rest periods. 9. Pin Loaded Machines No additional plates are to be attached to any of the pin loaded machines. 10. Wet Areas It is a requirement that you have a shower before entering any wet area in the gym including the Aqua aerobics pool, indoor 25m pool, spa, and steam room. For safety we recommend a maximum 15 minutes in the steam room. Personal creams and aerosols including eucalyptus sprays cannot be taken into the steam room. Appropriate swimwear must be worn in all wet areas. Minimum age requirement for spa and steam room is 14yrs. 11. Group Fitness Group fitness tickets must be collected from the reception at CHF and handed to the instructor before the class begins. Only members with a ticket to the class may participate. For your safety and comfort no entry will be permitted once a class starts. You are not permitted to book another member into the class who is not already in the centre or save a place in the class for another member. Due to the high demand members may not book into two consecutive Aqua classes. 12. Behaviour Foul language and aggressive behaviour toward fellow members or staff will not be tolerated. Please obey staff instructions at all times. Failure to comply may result in your membership being suspended or terminated immediately at management’s discretion. 13. Showers Our Eco Showers run for 2 minutes after you activate the sensor. They can be re-activated after 30 seconds. Temperature is set. 14. Faulty Equipment Please report any faulty equipment to a CHF staff member.
